cloudy is the day
how burning is the sun against me...
breeze so cold ...

autumn never moving....
leaves falling... never ending...
once again...
i find myself in this old bench ..
in immaculate slumber
my spirit sitting beside me...
nostalgic ...
cold...
heavy ...
people passing me by...
blurred are their image while passing..
time of mine frozen and yet theirs ever moving...

closing my eyes i see myself
looking at my own image
it asks me...
will next dawn come
will it be bright and sunny..
happy...
utter not an answer from my lips nor from my heart.
finding...
could not find that sunflower i used to hold..
could not hear the singing of the birds...
deafening is the beating of my heart...
only holding this transparent balloon
i have breathed with my hopes,
my aspirations and the questions i have waiting to be answered...
waiting to fly ...
should i let it go and have it soar the sky...
will it fly?
upon reaching the sky will it be heard by my Mama and Papa?
will they hear it??
will they answer??
